How Research Teams Use Chem+ to Move Faster

Most of Chem+ was built for a single researcher at a desk. But a growing number of you are R&D teams, university labs, and quality/analysis groups who want the whole group working from the same tools — so we've been building out what that looks like.

Research Agent: literature and tools in one step

The Research Agent takes a topic or question and does two things at once. It searches OpenAlex, Crossref, arXiv, Semantic Scholar, and Europe PMC for real literature, and it matches the topic against our 107 calculators, Virtual Lab simulations, and other modules to suggest which tools are relevant.

What used to be two separate steps — read the literature, then figure out which calculator to reach for — now happens together, and the resulting brief can be downloaded as a report. For a team, that means a new member can get oriented on an unfamiliar topic in an afternoon instead of a week.

Roles and an admin view

On the Team plan, account owners can invite teammates from Account Settings and assign roles:

  • Admin — full access, can manage members and settings.
  • Editor — can create and edit shared work.
  • Viewer — read-only access for stakeholders who need visibility, not edit rights.

The Admin Dashboard then aggregates real usage across the team — calculation history, time tracked, and recent searches — so a lab lead can see what the group is actually working on without asking everyone individually.

Shared notebooks, clear ownership

The Digital Lab Notebook gained a "Shared with Team" flag, so experiments meant for the group are visually distinct from personal drafts. Everyone logs results in the same place and the same format, instead of five people keeping five private notebooks.

Where to go next

The Team plan is ₺349/month (down from ₺999) and covers up to 5 users. If your organization is bigger or you're weighing Academy against ChemPlus Business for lab operations, the For Enterprise page walks through both — or reach out and we'll go through it with you.
